When you open this site, our hosting provider Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in operating the site securely and reliably. The data is deleted after a short period and is not combined with other data. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

Transfer outside the EU

Because our hosting provider is based in the United States, the data described above may be processed outside the European Union. Netlify, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and additionally relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission. An adequate level of protection under Art. 45 and Art. 46 GDPR is therefore ensured.

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your details in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise. We retain this data for as long as required to handle the matter or as long as statutory retention periods apply.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal message to the address above is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
